Hey yall!! This email is happy but sad all at the same time! I'm not really sure how this is possible but here I am 18 months later (well in a week;) I feel so incredibly blessed to have been a missionary here in South Carolina to what is probably the best year and a half of my life! Although hard at times I have felt an extreme amount of joy and happiness! Because I have been the worst at writing emails I wanted to write you this last one to tell you of a couple important things I have learned/developed while being a full-time missionary! 1. I have learned that Heavenly Father loves me so much! I know He loves each of His children so much and wants the very best for us! Even when we cannot see His hand in our lives He is always there! He wants us to safely return home to Him! 2. I have come to understand the Atonement of Jesus Christ better and how we can truly use it to feel comfort, peace, love, and forgiveness. Aren't we so lucky to have the knowledge of God's plan of happiness and how we can truly feel joy in our lives! I'm so grateful for Jesus! He truly loves each and every one of us to lay down His life so that we could overcome the pain, sadness, and heartache of this mortal life. 3. I can pray to Heavenly Father to know the truth of anything or ask any question and He will answer me. Prayer is so essential in our progress back to Heavenly Father! Without the ability to pray and receive revelation we would be lost not knowing what the truth is. 4. I know that the Church was restored by the Prophet Joseph Smith. He was called of God and without his question and desire to know of the truthfulness we wouldnt know the things we know about Heavenly Father and His plan for us. 5. I know that the Bible is the word of God and that the Book of Mormon clarifies the doctrine. They both teach and testify of my Savior, Jesus Christ. 6. I have learned how to develop lasting friendships with my companions, members, other missionaries, people we are teaching and my family! I'm so thankful for all the love and support from all yall! 7. I have developed a greater knowledge of the Book of Mormon and how it relates to me in my life. I have felt so much joy reading it every single day!! 8. I have gained a testimony of a living prophet. I know he loves us and is being led by our Savior, Jesus Christ to help us be prepared and ready to meet him again. His counsel and guidance is divinely inspired and helps us become the people Heavenly Father needs us to be. 9. I have learned to recognize spiritual promptings and have developed the ability to receive personal revelation better. I'm so grateful for the Lord's hand in my life as I have been helping His children here! 10. I have learned that there are so many ways to share the gospel! Especially going from tracking to facebook finding! It's incredible how good God is in preparing the way for us to Find, Teach, and Baptize so many more of His children! 11. I have learned that it isn't about me! One of the most important things the Savior taught is to love one another and serve those around you! When we are in the service of our fellow beings we are only in the service of God! When you are serving you feel more joy then you could possibly create yourself! 12. I have learned that no matter where you are there is always someone that Heavenly Father has placed in your path for a reason! Whether it be to bless your life or theirs! It's all part of His plan 13. I have learned that studying everyday is a MUST! It is so amazing how good you feel during the day when you get a good study in vs. when you don't! 14. I have learned that being bilingual is actually pretty awesome but takes a lot of hard work! I love my Latinos so much! They are some of the most genuine people I know ready to do anything for anyone! 15. I have learned that God will never command us to do anything that we cannot accomplish! It has been such a blessing helping others learn this throughout my mission! I know Heavenly Father will guide us and give us strength to do His will! 16. I have learned that no matter what Jesus Christ will freely forgive those that sincerely repent! Repentance is one of the happiest things we could possibly do everyday! 17. Life is hard but don't you ever give up! I have learned you work hard, play hard, and pray even harder for the Heavenly help to get through the tough times! 18. I have learned that there are so many blessings that come from following the gospel of Jesus Christ! Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End is the way! Being a missionary has been one of the greatest blessings ever! Meeting new people, learning new things, and growing into the person Heavenly Father wants us to be has been so good! GOD IS SO GOOD! I love yall so so much! Thank you for all you do! This week went by super FAST. To be honest it's all kind of a blurr. We have been trying really hard this week to Find people over social media. Its definitely a little harder to get that connection with people and find their needs when talking to them over text. This scripture  has never been so relevant in the work.  "Neither take ye thought beforehand what ye shall say; but treasure up in your minds continually the words of life, and it shall be given you in the very hour that portion that shall be meted unto every man." Everytime I would read this scripture I would always think about how in the very moment the words in Spanish would be brought to my remembrance or the things that need to be taught not what to say to a person to get them to respond. But the Lord really does work Miracle line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little! Although most people are not so interested in learning right now, they WILL BE! Mis queridos!  Thank you to everyone who made my Birthday so special! It was definitely one to remember. I have officially begun my "back in my 20s" stage! And I get to start it off by doing something I enjoy so much! Serving the Lord. I won't want to be anywhere else. Although some days are challenging and it feels like it's never going to end but then I just look back and see how far I've come and I am just amazed! Halfway! I can't even believe it. Feels like yesterday when I was graduating high school, going to college, and getting my mission call. But here I am, just doing my best to work hard and learn. And man oh man I just love it. I love how I have learned to rely on my Savior because he doesn't want us to go through things alone. He wants to help us because he knows how hard life can be sometimes. Mi Familia, It's been a couple week s . How  are you  all doing   with that cold Utah weather?  It was still pretty nice here until  November 1 .   T he first (actually) cold day here. We got up to go running and walked outside and had to come back inside to put a long sleeve shirt on. It was crazy because on Halloween it was in the high 80s and overnight it dropped to the 30s.  Anyways, last week   the Senior Missionaries in my area took us on a P-day to Beaufort and we were gone all day. It was so much fun! They picked us up and took us to Beaufort where we at lunch and had ice cream. We walked on the boardwalk and watched as boats came through the bridge. Then they drove us to hunting island to see the lighthouse. We got  t o climb the 197 steps to the top of it and lookout. The view was AMAZING! Elder and Sister Brandt are such Awesome people.
